Two-day training for graphic designers, photographers and artists. A lot of knowledge and the same amount of practice. Understanding color in the context of printing – how to do it, so that the effect in printing was as planned. Among the topics: colour models and colour conversions, types of paints and substrates, optical density, gamut, understanding of equipment and color perception, etc.

for managers and decision makers

about color and managing it
The classes begin with the transfer of theoretical knowledge, allowing to understand all the mechanisms at the creation of color, with particular emphasis on the participants’ perspective – whether they will be operators of Indigo, rotary offset or specialists from the color control department. Then we focus on all aspects that are the purpose of the training.

In order for production to run smoothly and be really efficient, clearly defined work hygiene is needed. It consists of details such as the types of substrates used for calibration, ways of its implementation, determining the condition of fluids in the machine… Frequently, operator training starts with solving current problems, while in progress we expand it with knowledge explaining the cause of issues and how to avoid them in the future .
The range of issues is determined by the type of production carried out in the printing house, the requirements set by the management board and the expectations of Clients. The whole process is then supplemented with the implementation of new technological solutions, including colour solutions.

We organise closed workshops in a chosen field, both as a part of events related to printing, and completely independently. Among other things, we conducted paper workshops for Antalis; workshops related to the subject of paints for Hubergroup Polska; for HP in Israel. Show us the area, and we’ll make an event that participants will not forget for a long time!
Beyond Color
Furthermore, we are taking our first steps in creating our own conference, addressed to a small group of specialists in the field of color and imaging – Beyond Color Conference. The first edition took place on March 25th, 2019 in Lodz and gathered very favorable opinions of the community.
Wanting to share the knowledge and spread good printing practices, we have completed a series of free meetings “Mocni w Druku” in few cities in Poland, which broke the attendance records and proved to us and others that printing in Poland is alive and well.

During trainings, I share the practical knowledge gained through the implementation of several thousand of orders including design analysis, printing and bookbinding. I lectured at universities (Wrocław University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology, Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź), with cooperation and commissioned by companies and organizations (including Apple, HP, Antalis, DSCOOP, Eizo, Nikon and Allegro) and for employees of many printers and graphic studios. I have been actively teaching classes since 2007 in Polish and English.
